The Central Bank of Uruguay manages monetary policy and theyve been fairly orthodox about it which has helped maintain reasonable stability. Inflation has been a persistent issue though not on the scale of Argentina.. usually in the high single digits. Not a currency most traders will ever touch but understanding it helps if youre looking at the broader Latin American picture.
